The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) has released a document that provides counter-terrorism security advice to those who own, operate, manage or work in bars, pubs and nightclubs
‘The summer of 2012 promises to be an extremely busy and challenging period for those working within the Licensing and entertainment industry as we celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Olympic Games and many associated events planned for the period’
‘The celebrations will attract large numbers of people creating ‘Crowded Places’, which can be vulnerable to a range of criminality. In order to keep people safe, businesses secure and minimise disruption there are a number of measures you should consider taking to minimise your vulnerabilities.’
The document can be downloaded from the SIA’s website
A huge thank you to all our staff that worked over the Jubilee weekend. A smooth and enjoyable weekend was had by all thanks to the dedication of the Spartan Medics, Close Protection staff and Stewards.
